These sub sandwiches deliver classic ingredients! Add Genoa salami, Sargento® Sliced Medium Cheddar Cheese, light Italian salad dressing, fresh crisp lettuce, sliced tomatoes, pepperoncini peppers and picked vegetables for a zesty kick.
Ingredients
4 soft submarine rolls, split
1/4 cup fat-free or light Italian salad dressing
2 cups romaine lettuce leaves, torn
6 oz. thinly sliced Genoa or hard salami
8 slices Sargento® Sliced Medium Cheddar Cheese
8 slices tomato
Pickled vegetables, pepperoncini peppers or sliced pickles (optional)
Directions
Brush inside of each roll with dressing. Layer lettuce, salami, cheese and tomato over bottom halve. Top with pickled vegetables, if desired. Close sandwiches; cut into halves to serve.
