One of the simplest, yet, most delicious ways to prepare bacon and eggs is by partnering them with Sargento® Ultra Thin® Sharp Cheddar Cheese Slices into a sandwich. The golden melted goodness of our cheese combined with the gooey yolk of the fried egg and crispiness of bacon on top creates such an amazing trifecta of flavor.

Ingredients
  • 2 English muffins, split
  • 2 slices center cut bacon, cut in half crosswise
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 slices Sargento® Ultra Thin® Sharp Cheddar Cheese Slices
Directions
  1. Lightly toast muffin halves.
  2. Cook bacon in a medium nonstick skillet until crisp. Transfer to paper towel. Crack eggs into drippings in skillet; cook 2 minutes; turn and continue cooking until yolk is desired doneness (1 minute for runny, 2 minutes for medium, 3 minutes for hard cooked yolk).
  3. Place eggs on muffin bottoms; top with cheese and bacon and close sandwiches with muffin tops.
