You really can’t go wrong with a casserole that involves some tenderly creamy chicken with hearty mushroom and your favorite egg noodles. Sargento® Shredded 6 Cheese Italian ensures each bite is full of gooey and melted goodness for everyone at the dinner table.
Ingredients
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
- 4 oz. canned mushrooms, drained
- 1/2 white onion, chopped
- 3/4 cups milk
- 1-1/2 cups (6 oz.) Sargento® Shredded 6 Cheese Italian, divided
- 2 cooked chicken breast halves, cut in bite-sized pieces
- 8 oz. egg noodles or penne pasta, cooked as directed on package
- 1/4 cup dried breadcrumbs
Directions
- Mix sour cream, soups, mushrooms, onion, milk, 3/4 cup cheese in large bowl. Add chicken and noodles; stir.
- Put in lightly greased 9x13-inch pan. Sprinkle with remaining cheese, then top with breadcrumbs.
- Bake 35 minutes at 350°F .
