These appetizers are delicious and beautiful. Use pepperoni slices to create “flowers” full of spinach, water chestnuts, Sargento® Shredded 4 Cheese Pizzeria and smooth cream cheese for a variety of flavors and textures in every morsel. Serve these at your next party and watch them quickly disappear!

Ingredients
  • 1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 1 cup (4 oz.) Sargento® Shredded 4 Cheese Pizzeria
  • 1 cup (4 oz.) Sargento® Shredded Parmesan Cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 1 box (10 oz.) frozen spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
  • 1 can (8 oz.) water chestnuts, finely diced (optional)
  • 144 slices (approx. 11. oz.) pepperoni
  • 1 jar (12 oz.) pizza sauce
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix all ingredients except pepperoni and set aside. Place 1 piece pepperoni in bottom of each mini muffin cup; cut 2 more pepperoni pieces in half and place along inside to create a flower. Make sure pieces overlap. Add 1/2 Tbsp. filling to each cup.
  2. Bake 20 minutes or until top of cheese is slightly browned.
  3. Remove pan to oven rack and let set a few minutes before removing pepperoni flowers from pan. Using a spoon, remove to cooling rack covered with paper towels to drain. Repeat to use remaining pepperoni and filling.
  4. Serve with warmed pizza sauce.
