Serve these tasty treats at your next get-together. Top these tiny toasts with a savory and sweet combination of Sargento® Shredded Reduced Fat Sharp Cheddar Cheese mixed with pineapple, balsamic vinegar and pepper flakes garnished with fresh basil.
Preheat oven to 400° F. Line a shallow rimmed baking pan with foil, then spray with nonstick spray
Place pineapple, onion, vinegar, pepper flakes, salt, black pepper and olive oil into a mixing bowl, tossing lightly, Spread mixture evenly in the prepared pan.
Cook in preheated oven for 20-30 minutes, stirring halfway through, or until pineapple and onion are lightly caramelized. Remove from oven; Place baguette toasts on pan and sprinkle evenly with shredded cheese. Return to oven until cheese is melted and bubbly; watch carefully, as it doesn't take long. Remove from oven; top each with pineapple mixture and a bit of fresh basil and serve warm.
