Kick off the start of football season with a homemade fondue sauce made with a blend of cheeses including Sargento® Shredded Colby-Jack Cheese - Fine Cut and your favorite hoppy beer. Even the biggest of team rivals will be eager to share this pot of melted gold with an assortment of dippers.

Ingredients
  • 2 cups (8 oz.) Sargento® Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese - Fine Cut
  • 3 cups (12 oz.) Sargento® Shredded Colby-Jack Cheese - Fine Cut
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 bottle (12 oz.) beer
  • 1 tsp. hot pepper sauce
  • Assorted breadsticks, bell pepper pieces, sugar snap peas and cherry tomatoes
Directions
  1. Toss cheeses with cornstarch in medium bowl; set aside.
  2. Pour beer into fondue pot; bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to low; add cheese mixture. Cook 2 minutes or until cheese is melted, stirring constantly. Stir in hot sauce.
  3. Keep fondue over low heat. Dip breadsticks, bell pepper pieces, sugar snap peas and cherry tomatoes into fondue.
