When the MVP needs a grilled cheese fix, they use Sargento® Medium Cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses on sourdough bread with Irish butter, then grills it to a golden brown.  It’s a homerun hit every time.

Ingredients
  • 4 slices Sargento® Medium Cheddar Cheese
  • 1/4 cup Sargento® Shredded Monterey Jack Cheese
  • 8 slices Sourdough bread
  • 4 Tbsp. Irish butter, softened
Directions
  1. Pre-heat a non-stick pan over medium-low heat. Brush one side of each slice of bread with softened butter.
  2. Place bread slice buttered side down in hot pan. Place 1 slice of each cheese on the unbuttered side of bread. Top with another slice of bread, buttered side up.
  3. Grill sandwich for about 2 minutes or until golden brown. Flip sandwich with a flat spatula. Grill an additional 2 minutes or until golden brown. Transfer sandwich to a plate, cut in half and enjoy!
