Baking is one of the best ways to get the most tender and delicious flavor out of your choice of fish, and it’s also the easiest! Our Sargento® Shredded 4 Cheese Mexican - Fine Cut really spices things up when melted on top of your pieces of fish in this Mexican-inspired recipe.

Ingredients
  • 1-1/2 lbs. fresh halibut, cod, scrod or hake, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 cup chunky-style salsa
  • 1-1/2 cups (6 oz.) Sargento® Shredded 4 Cheese Mexican - Fine Cut
Directions
  1. Arrange fish in single layer in 2-quart rectangular baking dish; sprinkle with lemon juice. Top with salsa and cheese.
  2. Bake in preheated 425°F oven 12 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
