Our caprese personal pizza recipe is made with delicious fresh garlic, basil, juicy Roma tomatoes and melted Sargento® Shredded Mozzarella - Fine Cut on top of a crescent roll crust that makes the perfect base for this pizza. They’re personal size and are a great meal for everyone.

Ingredients
  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 tsp. minced fresh garlic
  • 2-3 small Roma tomatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup (2 oz.) Sargento® Shredded Mozzarella - Fine Cut
  • 2-3 Tbsp. chopped fresh basil leaves
  • Pinch salt
  • Balsamic vinegar (optional)
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Press 4 triangles of dough into a rectangle, being sure to press seams together. Do the same with the remaining 4 triangles.
  3. Mix olive oil and garlic together and brush evenly over pizza crusts. Bake 4-5 minutes until light brown. Remove from oven and top with tomatoes, cheese and basil. Sprinkle each pizza with salt and drizzle with balsamic vinegar, if desired.
  4. Bake until cheese melts, about 3-4 minutes. Add basil at the end if desired.
