A bountiful submarine roll packed with a variety of chopped fresh bell peppers, banana peppers, sliced onion, tomato and alfalfa sprouts adds a double dose of cheese from Sargento® Sliced Colby Cheese and Sargento® Sliced Provolone Cheese to make a tasty meal for any time of day!

Ingredients
  • 2 tsp. butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 (6-inch) submarine roll, split in half
  • 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 2 green bell pepper rings
  • 1 slice Sargento® Sliced Provolone Cheese
  • 6 mild banana pepper rings or red bell pepper rings
  • 1 slice Sargento® Sliced Colby Cheese
  • 1 thin slice onion, separated into rings
  • 1/4 cup alfalfa sprouts
  • 2 thin slices tomato
Directions
  1. Spread butter on each roll half. Sprinkle Italian seasoning over each. On bottom half, layer the following: bell pepper rings, Provolone cheese, banana pepper rings, Colby cheese, onion rings, alfalfa sprouts and tomato slices. Cover with top half of roll. Wrap tightly in foil.
  2. Bake in preheated 350°F oven 15 minutes or until heated through.
