Assemble your very own deli-grade Reuben sandwich with the help of some essentials like stewed sauerkraut that tops slices of corned beef and Sargento® Sliced Swiss Cheese . Slather on Thousand Island dressing between slices of hearty rye that’s toasted until golden brown.

Ingredients
  • 2 slices rye bread
  • 3 oz. sliced corned beef or ham
  • 1/3 cup sauerkraut, drained
  • 1 Tbsp. Thousand Island salad dressing
  • 2 slices Sargento® Sliced Swiss Cheese
  • 4 tsp. butter, softened
Directions
  1. Top 1 bread slice with corned beef, sauerkraut, dressing and cheese. Top with remaining bread slice. Spread butter on outside of sandwich.
  2. Cook in a preheated skillet over medium heat 4 minutes per side or until golden brown. Serve hot.
