Ingredients
  • 1 large (14 to 15-inches) Italian bread, split
  • 1/3 cup butter, softened
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 cups (8 oz.) Sargento® Shredded Mozzarella - Fine Cut or Sargento® Shredded 6 Cheese Italian
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp. dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
  • Marinara or pizza sauce, heated (optional)
Directions
  1. Place bread on baking sheet cut sides up; set aside. Combine butter and oil in medium bowl; mix well. Stir in cheeses, garlic and oregano.
  2. Spread mixture evenly over bread slices. Bake in preheated 375°F oven 18 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Slice and serve with marinara sauce, if desired.
